SIAM COUNTRY RESORT PATTAYA – TUESDAY 4th JUNE, 2019
Long grass at King’s Naga
On Tuesday 4th June we went with 3 groups to King’s Naga. The course was in bad condition, the grass on the fairways was long and next to the fairways was much too long. The bunkers were bad, but had suffered of the rain. The condition of the course made playing difficult, but some players of our group played well. The weather was warm and clouded.
It was an exciting game between Patrick Devereux and Dave Smith. Both played consistent and made 37 stable ford points. But Patrick beat Dave on the count back. Third was Neil Harvey with 33 stable ford points, beating Paul Davies on the count back.
The nears to the pin were for Dave Smith (3X).
On Thursday 8th June our venue was The Emerald. We left our sunny Siam Country at 8,15, but when we drove to the Emerald the sky became black and when we arrived it was raining cats and dogs. Unfortunately we had to cancel our competition.
