Unexpected showers
On Tuesday 30th April we went with 3 groups to Pattaya Country Club. The course was not in good condition with rough and sandy fairways and the greens suffered also on maintenance. We had overcast weather with sometimes a little bit sun. About half way we have surprised by a heavy shower. Lucky for us that the course recovered quick. After the rain the heat came down on us.
Martin Hayes joined our group again, but today he could not follow up the tradition to win the first game after coming back. Dave Smith was today the man of the day. Looking at the tradition of the last week he scored a winning 41 stable ford points. Second was Paul Davies with 36 stable ford points, beating Ty Anderson on the count back.
The nears to the pin were for Martin Hayes, Stephen Ford and Jonathan Pratt.

On Thursday 2nd May was our venue King’s Naga. The course was very dry with many bold and rough spots, but the fairways were not too bad. The greens were good, but slow. The weather again warm and half sunny, but again we were surprised by a heavy shower after the turn.
Today showed Jonathan Pratt his good shape. He won clear with 42 stable ford points. Second was Ty Anderson with 38 stable ford points.
