‘HERO’ SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA COMES TO PATTAYA

Tiffany’s theatre in Pattaya was the venue for a more than 70 piece symphony orchestra concert lead by the celebrated Japanese conductor Hikotaro Yazaki.
The program consisted of a ‘Petite Symphonie For Winds’ followed by an amazing ‘Concerto For Marimba and String Orchestra’ with soloist Wasupon Tarntira, who delighted the audience with his dexterity.
The second half consisted of Ludwig Van Beethoven’s ‘Symphony No.3 in E-flat’ otherwise known as ‘Eroica’.
The orchestra was manily made of young musical students selected by rigorous audition and who are attending Silpakorn Summer Music School which is held annually.
A musical cultural treat indeed and the concert was skilfully presented by Pattaya Classical Music and the fabulous Tiffany Theatre.
