We had Seventeen golfers committed to travel out, alas with 3 pullouts it took us down to fourteen, still not a bad total for a Monday’s golf.
Off to Mt Shadow for a day of pain under suffering. We set out from the Blue Tees about 6200m (a bit long for me, but I’m not playing) Not one complaint regarding the condition of the courses, all was saying that it was in real good nic, Fairways mowed and tidy , greens ran true and bunkers were clean and raked as well. All in all the opportunity for some good scores one would think, or was it!
There appeared to be more people playing today, generally speaking we see very few on the course but today was the exception, we actually got held up on a few occasions!
Fourteen golfers let us play the solitary flight only but as always we were playing all six novelties.!
It was to be Colin Stielow with the shackles off that took the bull by the horns and came out of Kissy’s shadow to return with a good score of 34 pts. Second and only two shots behind was Mashi Kaneta and finishing third was his playing partner Patrick Poussier another stroke behind.

Back at the Swan we welcomed back Brendan Cope who we have not seen for a few weeks. And no farewells as far as I was aware. If we ever forget you in the “Welcomes or Farewells it will be an oversight and not a deliberate move!
