SAUSAGE FESTIVAL @ CENTRAL MARINA
The “German Sausage & Meat Festival” at Central Marina Shopping Mall on Pattaya Second Road had its opening ceremony on Saturday 27. October and went on for 4 days. The Guest of Honor was Khun Pakorn Partanapat, Chief Operating Officer of Central Pattana Public Company Limited, who is the owner of the shopping mall. Representing the Pattaya Mayor was Khun Rattanachai Sutidechanai. Among the VIPs invited to the ceremony was famous Thai Singer and Movie Star Pichaya “Golf” Nitipaisankul. The festival linked the German sausage tradition with the famous Thai Esarn sausages, but also lots of food products from Germany was on show everything of course washed down with German beer. Entertainment with dancers in German traditional costumes added to the atmosphere and a record 156 foot long sausage was presented to the public.
