Twenty three saddled up to take what I profess to be the best course we play Burapah! It was two buses and two cars that transported The Eager team waiting to get out and mix it.
At B750 Green fee maybe this golf course is waking up to the fact that if you reduce the price you may very well increase the numbers. I guess this will fall on deaf ears as we do not know what we are talking about!
Enough of politics and back to the golf!
Great numbers to a great course at an even better price, having not played all reports tell me that the course was in Tip Top Condition, with the only complaint being that from the drive it was (in places) a bit of a distance to get to the short stuff (that’s why I did not play) greens were good and true fairways mowed and tidy all was good.
With today’s numbers we were to play 2 Fights with 3 places and all novelties to be in play!
A Flight saw late entrant Rudy Regenass take the lollies, a very consistant game with definitely the score for the day, 37 points made him a clear winner on the day. Coming in second we actually had a reason to go to the count back, two players ended with 36 points with Peter Mac (on his last outing with us) getting the nod with a stronger back nine than Steve Younger!
B Flight saw Shane (the Jock) Young take first pozzi 35 points two points clear of his next opponent. Second was Andrew (Turtle) Allen a couple of shots behind. Third place, on the podium with again having his last hit with us (this trip) residential shit stirrer The Rock himself Rocky Lawson.

Back at the Swan we welcomed back Martin Todd, Allan Nolan, Aaron Dykes, Chris Stewart and welcomed Taro Yakamori. We then had to say goodbye to Sir Francis Riley, (see you Frankie we will play together on your next visit) then two of the original Musketeers and the fourth Musketeer. The original Shit Stirrer Rocky Lawson, Peter MacDonald and every body’s favorite Tiger supporter Kevin Smith. We also bid a fond farewell to the last of the Queenslanders (From Spagoni’s Memorial Day) Aaron Shorten & Mike MacGregor. Aaron thank for your honesty you did me proud and Mike thanks for your generosity throughout your stay and on the last day in particular.
