Local ‘Greta Sports’ leader takes Thailand to the 2018 ITF Beach Tennis World Team Championship
Renaud ,the Sports Director of Greta Sports near Pattaya where the Thai national team come from, was the coach of the Thailand Beach Tennis squad at the recent world event in Moscow.
The result of this championship, is marked by the victory of Brazil over Italy. The Brazil team miraculously saved a match point against Germany in the quarter finals.
Italy was the disapointment, the big favorite who seem to have lost their game usually based on speed and control to bring more power without success.
The San Marino team that the Thailand team met in the first round was a surprise, finishing sixth in the competition.
Thailand has managed to stay in the top 20 of the best nations thanks to a very competitive womens team that has demonstrated fighting values and a mastery of defensive play by winning matches against, Moldova, South Africa and Morocco.
