Hole in one for Stanley Rees at Khao Keow

Tuesday 31th July we went to Treasure Hill. The course was in very good condition and inviting for a good game. The weather was also nice, cloudy with a nice breeze. These good conditions motivated Daniel Oshiro very much. He was on fire and played consistent to win with 42 stable ford points. Second was Neil Harvey with 37 stable ford points. Third was Stephen Ford with 35 stable ford points, beating Willem Lasonder on the count back.
The nears to the pin were for Daniel Oshiro and Paul Davies.

Khao Kheow was our venue for Thursday 2nd August. We played the B & C course. It was again a nice day, not too hot with clouds, little bit sun and a good breeze. The course was in very good condition and we played a good round of golf. It became a very special day. Since December 2014 we have a special reward for a hole-in-1 and today it was the day. Stan Rees made his first hole-in-1 with a brilliant shot on B3. It is always a special moment when someone makes a hole-in-1. Congratulations Stan, well done! Two players kept each other in good balance, Paddy Devereux and Tony Wakeling. Both scored 36 stable ford points, but Paddy had a very good back nine with 22 points and became the winner. Stuart Banks was with 34 stable ford points third.
