ALEX FIELD & ROCKY LAWSON TOO GOOD ON THE DAY!!!!!
Two buses and a couple of cars were to take us out to Greenwood GC, and as per usual we were not disappointed in what we got on the day. Although I did not play I have to say that this course is definitely one of my favorites. With the road being fixed it is a 45 min trip which is far better than the hour to I ½ hr journey in the past. Its amazing it was the people that complained about the time were the people that slept both up and back.
Weather conditions were what I would call ideal, overcast for most of the day, we had a little bit of sun but most importantly there was no rain. We played A & C Courses in that order and attacked the course from the yellow tees. As usual the course was in great nick, although I did rec one complaint and that being that this person found the course a little on the damp side! No other complaints the price was right so yet again great job Greenwood GC!
We played 2 Flights today with all novelties in play.
A-Flight saw Alex Field get on top of things returning a very tidy score of 38 points to take first place. Second and third went to the count back. It was an easy count back to decide as Sal Brizzi had the better back nine as opposed to Paul Hacks back nine.
B-Flight had Rocky Lawson (Fresh from his Las Vegas boxing tour) got away buy the slightest of margins to take first place. He greeted the judges with 34 points. Second home was Jerry Dobbs only the solitary shot back. Third onto the podium was Smithers Kevin Smith also the solitary shot behind Jerry.

3rd – Paul Hack (11) 36 points (Done on a Count Back)

B-FLIGHT 21 plus

Alex Field took our resident charity hound D-For to the crowd, the generous punters and golfers are thanked for their donations which are used to assist the needy children of Pattaya.

The GS is a friendly golf outlet and caters for and encourages all golfers male and female to have a hit at any of our weekly outings.
