THE RUNAWAY BUFFALO
The Sawang Boriboon radio alarm center send out a message that a water buffalo had run out of a slaughter house located near the Pattaya Provincial Waterworks Authority in Nongprue. A search for the buffalo went on for some time until it was finally brought back to the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Center. As a matter of fact the Chairman of the rescue organization had been driving his car when the same buffalo ran out crossing the road in front of his car. The chairman showed his compassion by buying the buffalo for 19,000 baht and thus saving the animals life. He is now looking for someone who would like to “adopt ” the buffalo on conditions that they never kill the animal.
