SOLVING TRAFFIC PROBLEMS
The new Traffic Police Chief in Pattaya announced that he will implement measures to create a better flow of the traffic in Pattaya and will sort out or at least reduce the traffic jam problems.
Another matter the new chief will address is wrongdoings like speeding, crossing red lights or other bad behavior of people in the traffic.
There are 5 main points in the overall traffic plan:
1. Training the traffic police officers, in troubleshooting skills and even first aid in case of accidents.
2. Meetings with all the school administrators to understand traffic related problems and to make safety plans for parents and students coming to the schools.
3. Implement plans and using various physical devices to make the traffic flow better, and to crack down on violators of the traffic laws.
4. Focus on rush hour traffic problems.
5. Organize programs to inform especially the young generation about traffic laws, and to install discipline in the traffic to all citizens.
