BEST RESTAURANT AWARDS
The 20th Bangkok’s Best Restaurant Awards was held at the Grand Ballroom of the five star Shangri-la Hotel in Bangkok on June 11 , 2018 and was organized by the publishers of Bangkok’s Best Dining & Entertainment magazine. It was a truly amazing gastronomic experience to sample all the great food and drinks on show for the invited VIP audience.

Bangkok’s Best Restaurant Awards is a yearly award ceremony that takes palace in the first quarter of the year and is credibly noted as the event of the year. This staged event, a multi-venue dining and entertainment ceremony features 34 venues, live band performances and awards presentation. The event would play host to dignitaries, expatriates, the business community and professionals from the hospitality industry with attendance numbers projected at nearly 1,000 guests.

This event creates a stir in the market prior to the actual ceremony with over 280 venues nominated in 17 categories. There are 2 awards in each category; a Reader’s Choice Award based on the maximum number of validated votes received by the venue and an Editor’s Choice Award that is determined by a panel of 5 judges based on a 10 point scale that rates food, ambiance and service at each restaurant. The online ballots create quiet a stir in the market and all nominated venues seek unconventionality in attractingthe maximum number of votes. The winning venues receive a Certificate and Plate at the award ceremony and all nominated venues receive a Certificate of Excellence.
Bangkok’s Best Restaurant Awards is a great amalgamation of various venues and cuisines under one roof featuring their best from decor to provision of gastronomic delicacies for guests to savor. Each year the excitement of this event is heightened and the success of this awards ceremony has spanned over the last 20 years.
