STRAY DOGS AND RABIES CONCERNS
Community active people have voiced the concern about the area on the Phratamnak mountain where many people exercise every day. The area has a lot of stray dogs and some wild monkeys, and people are worries about the risk of some of these animals having rabies. Another concern is the drug dealers who apparently like to do their business in this area, also many homeless people seem to adopt the place as their “home”. If the area is unsafe for residents and tourists it will give a bad name to Pattaya.
A group of reporters representing various media in Pattaya came with public officials to inspect the huge area and found it to have many of the problems stipulated in this news story. Various authorities has been notified and asked to take action to make the Phratamnak mountrain safe for all.
