60,000 BAHT STOLEN AND SPEND
A young Thai girl Karnjanapon Keakum age 22 spend in no time nearly 60,000 baht partying with friends after stealing the money from Mr. Albert Ayoubdel who is an Australian national. He reported to the police that he while staying in a condo in the Pattaya-Naklua area had been robbed by a Thai lady of 4,900 Australian dollars and 700 US dollars valued approximately at 60,000 Thai baht. After fast and effective police work the Thai girl was arrested. She confessed to the crime and explained that after stealing the money she went to a money exchange on Thepprasit Road to convert the foreign money into Thai baht. She then made a bank transfer of 2,050 baht, and had only 810 baht left after spending heavily drinking with friends. She now have more than one hangover as she also awaits prosecution for her crime.
