ROTARY INSTALLATION NIGHT
The oldest Rotary Club in Pattaya established in 1972, the Rotary Club of Pattaya will be the organizer of the Joint Installation Night of 5 Rotary Clubs in this region: Rotary Club of Chonburi, Rotary Club of Panat Nikom, Rotary Club of Sriracha, Rotary Club of Laemchabang and Rotary Club of Pattaya. The installation Night will takle place at the convention hall at the Father Ray Foundation on Sukhumvit Road on Thursday 21. June 2018, with registration starting at 17.45 PM and the actual procedings starting at 18.30 PM. The registration for each participant is 500 baht, that includes dinner and a great night of entertainment and fellowship. Rotarian Stephen “Steve” Devereux will be installed as the new club president of the Rotary Club of Pattaya, taking office from 1. July until the end of June next year. Steve is from Ireland and over the years has been extremely active in charity and community projects, so Rotarians look forward to a great year with his energy, leadership and great vision. Every year Rotary International change their president and he in turn create a theme for his year in office, during the coming “Rotary year” the theme will be “BE THE INSPIRATION”. The incoming Rotary world president is Barry Rassin and he mention in his message to the 1,2 million Rotarians worldwide: Our founder Paul Harris put it, “Rotary is a microcosm of a world at peace, a model which nations will do well to follow”. To me, Rotary is not only a model but an inspiration. It shows us what is possible, inspires us to reach for it, and gives us a path to act – and to ‘Be the Inspiration’ to our world.
