CAMPAIGN AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING
The Land Transport Department of Chonburi province provided equipment to people who had been disabled from accidents in the traffic especially from drunk driving. At the presentation 103 disabled people received equipment from this project called “The Happiness for all” and “Happiness for Thailand”. One traffic victim Mr. Wanchai Sangsawang, age 30, explained that one day after work he was driving a motorcycle home when a pickup truck crashed into him to break both his legs and leave him disabled and in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. The driver and the passenger of the pick up truck was both drunk. Now a campaign is in motion to stop drunk driving and inform of all the terrible consequences drunk driving can create.
