SAMARITANS HELPS OLD LADY
A small group of good Samaritans came to visit an old lady who had been living on a hut behind the Banglamung Hospital. The Samaritans were Khun Worachach Empej also known as “Chet Smiling Buffalo” a Thai ex-rock band member, Khun Jaroonsak Tungkumdee also known as “Lung Tung” a local historian, German Mr. Reinar Abele and his Thai wife Angkana Abele. When they met the old lady Khun Boonruang who is 69 years old, she was smiling and greeted them politely, she explained that she had been living in a hut behind the Banglamung Hospital together with her son and made a living of selling food items, however when her son died 4 months ago she left the hut as she was afraid of young gang and drug users who would come to her hut and steal her belongings. The good hearted visitors gave the old lade some money and dried food and would now look for a place for her to stay so she can carry on make a living for herself. We are lucky to have good people like this in our Pattaya community.
