IMPROPER CAMBODIAN MONKS
Six Cambodian people dressed as monks has been roaming the streets to collect food from well meaning people who wanted to make merit. After receiving the food they had it sold to workers on a construction site.
The police had been informed that some monks was acting in an improper way, so they went to a bush area where the monks had build a hut and lived there. The police found various clothes and items used by monks and together with the Cambodians all was taken back to the police station for further investigation.
After checking the paperwork of the six monks the police found them to be Cambodian monks but bot having a permission to stay in Thailand, they were therefore taking to a Thai temple to be further questioned by Thai monks and there after send back to Cambodia.
