Christmas Tree Lighting at Centara Grand Mirage

On December 8, 2017 at 7 PM, the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort introduced its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, a charity event, and welcomed the upcoming celebration of the Christmas and New Year season. The event also marked the hotel’s Eighth Anniversary. This year there were many activities, including onstage entertainment by students from the Father Ray Foundation, allowing the merrymakers to join the show and make donations through various activities, such as taking photos with Santa Claus, which included a beautiful photo frame for 100 Baht, buying charming Christmas ornaments for 100 Baht, Father Ray postcards at 100 Baht per pack (5pieces), Christmas cookies, and even taking pictures with the C-Dee Elephant mascot. The theme this year was red-white, symbolizing happiness and prosperity. The event was attended by numerous folks and executives from both the private and government sectors, including Pattaya’s Mayor Pol. Maj. Gen. Anan Charoenchasri as the chairman of the event, and joined by Mr. Andre Brulhart, the General Manager of Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort, who delivered the opening remarks and welcomed everyone. Also attending were Reverend Pattarapong Sriworakul, Director of the Father Ray Foundation, Mr. Rattanachai Sutthidechanai, Pattaya’s Entertainment and Tourism Business Consultant, along with many Thai and foreign tourists. The Christmas celebration will be ongoing until January 6, 2018, and interested parties are invited to support Father Ray’s children by buying postcards and Christmas ball ornaments. All income from these donations, with no deductions for expenses, will be donated to the Father Ray Foundation.
