The games were attended by Police Commanders; Pol. Lt. Col. Mr. Prawatchai Sudsakorn Deputy Superintendent of the Suppression Team and Pol. Lt. Col. Mr. Sarunyaphong Maithongkunthorn the Chief Inspector of Crime Suppression.
The intention was to bring the officers from different departments together, for a fun day to build strong relations within the police force, and of course to enjoy the beautiful game.
The Superintendent team showed good teamwork and physically strength in their first match. However, at the end of the 45-minute game they came away as slight losers with a score-line of 2:1.
The second game was also a close affair, the cheering fans watched as the Blue Shirts overcame the Black Shirts 2:0.
Despite the physical play on the day, it is safe to say that the team building exercise was a success. Senior police have since appointed four officers to meet regularly as communication between the units has improved.
