Press conference and lottery split 10th Pattaya Futsal Cup in 2017
On the afternoon of the 15th of May, a press conference was held at the Royal Garden Plaza, in which Pattaya Deputy Mayor of Mr.Prajak made the draw for the Futsal Pattaya Cup 2017.
Also in attendance were Mr. Jirasak Jitsom, Director of Muaeng Pattaya 11 School, Mr.Milin Nathapintu, Managing Director of Business Development at Warrix Sport Co. and Ms. Nuntiya Boonpila the Marketing Manager of the Royal Garden Plaza Pattaya. Other distinguished guests and the athletes themselves also attended the press conference for the 10th annual futsal competition.
Pattaya and Warrix Sport Co. will hold the Futsal Pattaya Cup 2017 between the 19-24 of May at the Muaeng Pattaya 11 School.
Competitors will hope to win cash prizes and trophies as the showcase the high standard of Pattaya’s futsal community.
The event also hopes to promote good health for young people and the general public within Pattaya. The competition also allows teams of all abilities to come together to have fun.
Futsal, which began on the streets of South America, is now a global sport. Although not as popular as regular football, it is widely considered to be a faster and more highly skilled game. Former futsal players include Lionel Messi.
It is hoped that competitions such as this will help raise the level of the sport in Thailand so that one day, this country can compete on the global stage.
