Police announce recent arrests
At 5:00 pm on the 19th of May, Pattaya police held a news conference at the Pattaya City Police Station, announcing recent arrests including a huge drugs bust that prevented over 1 million Baht’s worth of narcotics hitting the streets.
Chonburi Pol. Col. Apichai Krobpetch made the announcement in front of Pattaya City Police Department Deputy PM Sompran Suksamran, the Deputy Head of Pattaya Police Pol.Lt. Vatchai Sudsakorn and investigating officers.
2 suspects identified as Mr. Nakapol Jaroonkittawee, 38, and Mr. Krung Iaimbang, 39, were caught in possession of 80,000 tablets of crystal methamphetamine weighing over 312 grams. The pair were also found with a 9 mm automatic short pistol and ammunition, 5 5.56mm air strikes ballistics, 90 rounds M16 ammunition and digital weighing scales. cartridge with 90 rounds and digital weighing scales. Also announced was the arrest of Miss Tiprada Sanitchop, 40, who was charged with stealing a Russian tourist’s purse.
