Cyclist has gold necklace snatched
On the evening of the 17th of May, Chonburi police inspector Lt. Anupong was called out the Soi 5, Ban ThungKhad, after reports of a theft involving a motorcycle.
At the scene, the victim Mr. Suwan Tangtrakul, aged 43, told police that he had been cycling to a market when he was approached by a young man on a motorcycle who was travelling at great speed. The suspect snatched Mr. Suwan’s 5 Baht weight golden amulet from around his neck, before fleeing the scene at great speed.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage of the scene to try and identify the young man who was reportedly wearing a blue shirt and riding a blue motorcycle.
