Beach Handball Championship
Asian Men’s and Women’s competitions 2017
The 6th Asian Men’s & Women’s Beach Handball Championship 2017 will be hosted on Jomtien Beach between the 8th and the 15th of May.
The grand opening of the event was conducted at the Jomtien Beach Public Activity Hall by the President of the Handball Association of Thailand Mr. Sombat Kurupan.
The competition is a qualifying event for the world championship in Russia next year, as reported by the Secretary of Handball Association of Thailand Pol. Maj. Gen. Norasak Hemnithi.
Competitors from 10 countries signed up for the competition; Oman, Uzbekistan, Taipei, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Arab Emirate, Afghanistan, China and Thailand, while only the top countries qualify to head Russia for the ultimate event in 2018.
