Police detain multiple miners after raiding pub
At 2am on the 1st of April, Pattaya police successfully raided 18 BIT Thai pub on the 3rd Pattaya Road, after receiving complaints from neighbours and residents of underage drinking and inappropriate behaviour taking place on the premises.
Upon the arrival of the police, the pubs music was stopped and multiple miners attempted to leave the scene.
The 16 miners detained by police had their names recorded and parents informed of their behavior, before being issued with a police warning.
The manager of the premises, Mr. Wirote Buajoom, aged 34, was also detained at the scene and was charged with 2 offences, allowing miners to use the premises and selling alcohol to miners.
