ROBBED BUT NO ACTION

A painting and decorating centre used CCTV images to help identify robbers and passed images to mass media
5th March 2017, Mr.Terdpong Sukamornsak (the director of a Painting and Decorating Centre) showed the media CCTV footage exposing the identities of robbers who stole from them after the police had failed to show interest in the case.
Mr.Terdpong Sukamornsak said the Painting and Decorating Centre which is the first center of its kind on Thailand’s eastern seaboard that improves the lives of former prisoners and the unemployed, giving them the skills and enabling them to get a full time job and lead a normal life.
Mr.Terdpong Sukamornsak often stays at the Painting and Decorating Centre, but on March 15th, he didn’t stay as he had other work to do outside the center.
Then on his returned the next day he noticed many items were missing and on checking CCTV, saw that some robbers had stolen the items with the total value of approximately 100,000 baht.
After the incident he discovered that Mr.Nopparat Leksri (Age 46) who had been staying and working in the center had disappeared so making him a prime suspect in the case.
He then gave all the information including the CCTV footage to Banglamung Police Station, but the police did not investigate the matter, they said they did not have enough time to investigate.
He then took the images from the CCTV himself and gave them to the Mass Media in the hope that the items might somehow be recovered or that the police might act
