2nd December 2016, Pol.Capt. SupanSophee (Inquiry officer Pattaya City Police Station) reported that an alien worker was assaulted and badly injured at Laguna Beach construction camp site located onSoiTheprasith 17, Moo 10, Banglamung, Chonburi.
At the incident area officers found Cambodian worker named Mr. Sorn (age 30) badly injured with a knife cut on his left arm.
The injured man stated that he and his friend who was injured from a previous attack were on their way to hospital when 20 other Cambodian workers carrying wood and knifesstarted chasing them and assaulted him and his friend who was waiting in the car.
Officers will do more investigation from CCTV footage to find the suspects identity.
