AMBASSADOR VISITS PATTAYA

Finland Ambassador visits Pattaya City
9th November 2016, at Pattaya City Hall, Mrs. SuladdaSarutilawan (Director of TAT Pattaya) and Mr. ChalermwatVimuktayon (Consultant to Pattaya City Mayor) were representatives welcoming Ms.Satu Surkkari-Kleven, Ambassador to Finland and Mr.RaimoPahkasalo First Secretary Consular Affairs who came to discuss the establishment of a Finish Consulate Office in Pattaya.
At present, there are allot of Finnationals working and traveling to Pattaya including many retired people.
Last year, there were 143,000 Finish people travelling to Thailand but only 4,000 Thai people traveling to Finland.
Establishing a new Finish Consulate Office is hoped to encourage more tourism between the two countries.
