GROWLING SWAN GOLF AT GREENWOOD
GROWLING SWAN GOLF GREENWOOD – 2nd July, 2018.
“They came they saw and they conquered!” Steve Lynch too good!
Two buses and a couple of cars loaded with enthusiastic golfers departed The Swan for the trip up the highway to Greenwood Golf Club. We played courses A & C and we were playing from the front tees.
The course was in good condition as this course always is and is one of The Growling Swan’s favorite courses. Fairways were in good nick and the greens played true as they do.
Two Flights were the order of the day with 3 placing’s in each Flight.
“A” Flight saw Steve Lynch take the game with 39 points, second place went to the count back between 3 golfers, which meant that one player would miss out on a placing. So as a result of the count back Chris Lim finished second and Sa took third spot. The unlucky golfer was Keith Buchanan who missed a spot on the podium.
“B” Flight saw Gordon Clegg continue in his fine form taking first place with 38 points, second placing went to another in form golfer Lorraine Percy 2 shots behind, and Rudy Regenass taking out third place!

Back at The Growling Swan we welcomed back Ebby, Paul Jackson plus the 12 of his touring party. And they are Chris Lim, Steve Lynch, Sa, Nick, Richard, Craig, Dah, Victor, Sok, Robbie, Don and Chiyan. Sorry we did not have surnames for all of Paul’s golfers. We also said goodbye to the same crew and hoped they enjoyed the day with us.

The GS is a “friendly” golf outlet and caters for and encourages all golfers, young and old, male or female to have a hit on any of our weekly outings.
