HI-LO CASINO RAIDED
Seventeen people became “April Fools” as all was arrested on gambling charges by the Banglamung District Chief, police and military on the 1. of April. The joint force arrived at a 3-storey commercial building located in 247/37-38 M. 10 in Pattaya. They had been informed that gambling was taking place in the building that was surrounded to avoid any escape of suspects. At the arrest of the hi-lo gamblers and the dealers Mr. Pongdate Heratchwisit age 37 admitted to be the owner of the gaming operation. A lot of gambling equipment was confiscated including a dice board, dices, chairs, a dish cover and cash worth 10,000 baht. On the second floor there were 4 tables for games of “Dragon and Tigers” and a set of CCTV cameras to keep an eye of the gamblers and in this case a non-successful look out for the police.
