Young woman has necklace snatched
At 6 pm on the 11th of June, Nongprue police were called out to Soi Neonplabwan in front of Thai I-to College, to investigate the snatching of a necklace.
The victim was identified as young Kalasin woman, Miss Pornsuda Pumpothong, aged 20. She was found in floods of tears when the police arrived.
Miss Pornsuda told police that her gold necklace had been snatched by a Thai man on a red Honda Wave 125 motorcycle while she was riding her motorcycle home.
The perpetrator approached her at great speed and snatched the necklace, reported to be worth approximately 6,000 Baht, before fleeing the scene.

The police notified the wider police networks but as of yet the property and the culprit, have not been found.
The police suspect that the snatcher must have detailed knowledge of the surrounding areas. They will CCTV footage in an attempt to catch the criminal and bring him to justice so that more innocent people do not share the same fate in the future.
