HM King Rama 10 gives tri-combination clothes to Monks
On the afternoon of the 30th of May, Chonburi Governor, Mr. Phakarathorn Thianchai, was given the appointment of bringing the tri-combination of Monk’s clothes which will be used in the upcoming Royal Cremation of HM King Rama 9 in October 2017, during a ceremony.
The appointment was made by HM King Rama 10 (King Maha Vajiralongkorn) and the ceremony was attended by many important guests inclunding the Banglamung District Chief Mr. Naris Niramaiwong and the Chairman of Pattaya Cultural Council Mr. Mana Yaya.
The Tri-combination of Monk clothes includes a Sankatan kit (a donation of daily necessities given by people to the monk in order to obtain merit) that will be offered to the Asst. Monk Abbot of Chaiyamongkol Royal Temple on the South Pattaya Road.
A complete set of the Royal Tri-combination was given to each Superior Monk Abbot all around the country who will attend both a prayer ceremony in the Royal Cremation of HM King Rama 9 and a blessing ceremony for HM Queen Sirikit, at Dusit Palace on the 29th October later this year.
