Foreign Police Volunteers visit sick colleague
On the 30th of May, the Chief of the Foreign Police Volunteers (FPV), Mr. Niels Colov and his beloved wife led a group of FPV members in visiting another FPV member, Mr. Wazir Ali, aged 58 from Pakistan, who has recently fallen sick with Degenerative Spondylitis.
Mr. Ali has not been able to serve the community as an active FPV member for over 2 months as a result of his condition and therefore his colleagues decided to pay him a visit.
Conversations about treatment, the need to rest and general expressions of concern and care were the order of the day.
Mr. Ali has been receiving treatment at the Banglamung Hospital but his condition has not improved recently. One possible reason for this may be his desire to continue lifting weights and now doctors are prescribing best rest at home as well as medicine.
A fund to help with medical expenses was collected by his colleagues and presented to Mr. Ali, before the volunteers left him to rest. They plan to visit him again soon.
