Meeting held for Or Bpor Por Ror volunteers
A meeting was held at the Nongprue Municipality building on the morning of the 2nd of June, to discuss the role of the Civilian Volunteer project (known in Thai as the Or Bpor Por Ror).
The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Mayor of Nongprue, Mr. Niyom Thiangtham and primarily talked about the duties of the volunteers which make up the largest government authorized civilian volunteer project.
Appreciation was shown for the dedicated work undertaken by the group, who assist government officials in a variety of ways.
The group expect to attract a large number of new volunteers and as such, one topic of discussion was the amount of new uniforms needed.
The meeting finished with a Q & A session and a summary of the ways in which volunteers can further assist police in the future.
