Chinese tour guide has valuable necklace stolen while on motorcycle taxi
Pattaya Police were called out to Petchtrakoon Road in North Pattaya where a Chinese tour guide identified as Mr. Tao Yingjie, aged 34, told police his gold necklace, worth 20,000 Yuan (approx. 100,000 Baht) had been snatched while he was on a motorcycle taxi.
Mr. Tao, who spoke through a translator, was accompanied by the motorcycle taxi driver Mr. Tai Donsaeng, aged 44, who had attempted to chase the snatcher but to no avail.
The police networks were alerted and CCTV footage reviewed as the investigation continues. Police suspect that this snatcher may have committed other thefts in the area.
