D.A.R.E. Project aims to educate the students to be able to think for themselves to say NO to any temptation of narcotic drugs and to become the important eyes and ears for the authorities in locating drug addicts who can be saved by helping them to get rehabilitation though prevention is the key objective of the project.
D.A.R.E. Project stands for Drugs Abuse Resistance Education, initiated in 1983 by D.A.R.E. International led by the L.A.P.D. (Los Angeles Police Department) in co-operation with the local educational department.
Thailand adopted the project in 1999 using it to educate the young as narcotics has become a national problem for many years.
