Business man robbed of 6.5 million baht, has been waiting for lawsuit over 2 years
Mr. Lee Strauss, an English business man said he had travelled to Pattaya and met with a Mr. David who owns a restaurant in Pattaya and was persuaded by the restaurant owner to invest in his restaurant and become his partner.
Mr. Strauss transferred 6.5 million baht through Mr. David’s account which later, his wife, Ms. Siriyakorn took take care of, then according to Mr. Strauss, the money was then embezzled from the account.
Mr. Strauss first went to make a report to the police in December, 2014 but nothing happened.
He’s now made his case public informing the media in the hope that the police will restart the investigation and help get his money back.
