ILLEGAL BUILDINGS WALKING ST

101 buildings invade onto public land in Walking Street area

5th January 2017, at Pattaya City Hall, Mr. Chanatpong Srivisate (Pattaya City Mayor) presided over a meeting to solve the 101-building issue. Representatives from the Public Engineering Office, Environment Office, Head of Law and Press attended the meeting.
There are presently 101 buildings from the private sector that have invaded into public space on Walking Street. With the illegal construction allot of waste drains into the ocean which has a negative effect on the water.
On the 9th January 2017, Mr. Chanatpong will take related departments to check this issue on Walking Street.
