30th November 2016, Mrs. Muay (alias name) owner of house 298/128, Naklua, Banglamung, Chonburi complained to press that her house has started to crack from the wall, floor and in the house structure.
The reason is due to a bhodi tree’s roots that was planted in temple grounds behind her house. The roots have started to grow under her house causing damage.
She complained to Pattaya Resolve Complain Centre that nobody has acted. She asked related departments to send someone to cut the roots but they rejected her request giving the excuse that the Bhodi tree is in temple grounds so is a holy thing and can’t be touched.
Therefore, she decided to report her problem to the press in the hope that someone will take notice and help solve the issue.
