On the 29th September 2016, Lt.Paradit Jitramawong (Protection Department Banglamung) led an administration team, volunteers and police officers to check Zone Pub & Restaurant located near Pattaya City Hospital, Pattaya road 3, South Pattaya, Moo 10, Nongprue, Banglamung for under age customers. There had been complaints that this pub allowed customers under the age of 20 years old and also allowed them to take drugs on the premises. Officers found two customers under 20 years old and another ten without ID cards. Officers also arrested a female suspect who had 14 pills of an antidepressant drug which is illegal under Thai law.
Officers will request the Chonburi governor to close this pub for 5 years.
